Professional biography sketch

Tsung-Shine Ko received the B.S. degree in Physics from National Changhua University of Education in 2001. After serving as a trainee teacher in high school for one year, he received the M.S. degree in Atomic Science from National Tsing Hau University in 2004. In 2009, he received the Ph. D. degree in Photonics from National Chiao Tung University. During Ph. D. student period, he applied Graduate Student Study Abroad Program and joined Prof. Han's Nitride Group at Yale University implementing relevant research. From 2010 to 2013, he worked for AIXTRON and served as a process engineer, where he was in charge of many main projects including advanced optoelectronics development and MOCVD epitaxial stability. Since 2013, he has joined National Changhua University of Education in Taiwan as an assistant professor. His research interests mainly include advanced nano-optoelectronic materials, energy-efficient optoelectronic devices, surface & material analysis techniques and their novel applications.
